The hotel was spacious and clean, perfect for accommodating a pack n play and dog kennel, but be aware that lots of stairs are required, so notify them if stairs are an issue when booking. The service was helpful and friendly, although there were some minor issues like my credit card number being written on the back of the registration card. The location, especially for fishing enthusiasts, is excellent with a cozy restaurant atmosphere but lacks housing appeal. The dining experience offered a great selection of hot options for breakfast, setting a positive tone for the day, and the facilities were top-notch, reflecting a notch above other chains.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The location is perfect if you are going fishing, and it also doubles up as a restaurant at night. The Compass Suites offers spotlessly clean rooms with a great external view, perfect for travelers. The ventilation system is superb compared to other hotels like Best Western. The value for money is exceptional given the high cleanliness standards.
I was delighted with my stay at this hotel. The rooms, though average in size, were clean and equipped with a fridge and microwave. Being located on the first floor turned out to be fortunate due to the out-of-service elevator, but it was a bit inconvenient as it was near the outdoor benches where smokers gather. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy. The location, especially for those interested in fishing or visiting downtown, was perfect. The dining experience was extremely nice, with hot and regularly replenished dishes served in a big room with a lovely view. Facilities were good with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
